City & State New York has acknowledged Dr. Jenny Tsang-Quinn for her efforts in enhancing healthcare access and education in Brooklyn. Dr. Tsang-Quinn, who serves as the Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services and Population Health at Maimonides Health, was named on the 2025 Above and Beyond: Women’s Award list.

Dr. Tsang-Quinn emphasizes patient-centered care by fostering relationships between patients and healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes. Her team includes clinicians, patient care coordinators, and other professionals who focus on tracking healthcare data and employing population health best practices.

The team identified language barriers, low literacy, and busy schedules as common reasons for missed screenings like mammograms and blood pressure checks. To address this, they connected patients with providers who spoke their language, accommodated varying literacy levels, and offered flexible hours.

“I am honored to be recognized on City and State’s 2025 Above and Beyond: Women list,” said Dr. Jenny Tsang-Quinn. “Every day, my team goes the extra mile to remove healthcare barriers for Brooklyn residents so they can get the treatment they need to thrive.”

Dr. Tsang-Quinn is also working on improving digital health tools at Maimonides Health to enhance communication between patients and providers. She focuses on training clinical staff and designing user-friendly digital record templates to make care more efficient across all specialties.

Her dedication to patient-centered care is transforming healthcare in Brooklyn by ensuring better accessibility for all residents.
