Maimonides Health has launched Brooklyn's first comprehensive Menopause Center, aiming to address a significant gap in women's healthcare. Located at the Maimonides Doctors Multispecialty Pavilion on 9th Avenue, the center offers an integrated approach to menopause care. It combines mental health counseling, lifestyle guidance, symptom management, and preventative services.

Dr. Scott Chudnoff, Chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Maimonides Health, stated that the new center fulfills a long-held dream of providing comprehensive menopause care to Brooklyn's diverse communities. He emphasized the importance of specialized services for millions of women affected by menopause.

Sarah Zuercher, Director of OBGYN Clinical Programs at Maimonides Health, expressed pride in expanding women's health services through this dedicated center. She highlighted the team's focus on understanding patients' needs and providing compassionate care during menopause.

The initiative reflects Maimonides Health's commitment to stigma-free and accessible menopause care. Samara Daly, Co-Founder and Board Chair of Let’s Talk Menopause, praised the center as a significant stride toward empowering women in Brooklyn and New York City. Donna Klassen, LCSW, Co-Founder of Let’s Talk Menopause, described it as a monumental advancement for women's health in Brooklyn.
