Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 13th district, recently shared several messages on social media concerning International Women's Day and other topics. Espaillat has been serving in Congress since 2017 after replacing Charles Rangel and has a history of political service in New York State.

On March 8, 2025, Espaillat expressed his commitment to women's rights globally through his Twitter account. He stated, "On International Women’s Day, my @demwomencaucus colleagues and I recommit to fighting for all women and girls across the globe. All women, regardless of birth place or nationality, deserve a world where they can thrive."

In another post on the same day, he reiterated this message in Spanish: "En el Día Internacional de la Mujer, mis colegas del @demwomencaucus y yo nos comprometemos nuevamente a luchar por todas las mujeres y niñas del mundo. Todas las mujeres, independientemente de su lugar de nacimiento o nacionalidad, merecen un mundo en el que puedan prosperar."

The following day on March 9, 2025, Espaillat mentioned his participation in an interview with Bill Ritter on ABC7NY's "UpClose." He encouraged viewers to watch their discussion regarding significant political events by stating: "It’s always a pleasure to join UpClose with @BillRitter7 on @ABC7NY. Catch our discussion about Trump’s joint address to Congress and this week in Washington."
