Grace Meng, a U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 6th district, has recently shared her views and activities through a series of tweets. Meng, who has been serving in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Gary Ackerman, continues to engage with her constituents and address pressing issues.

On March 6, 2025, Grace Meng addressed concerns regarding discrimination on campus. She emphasized the importance of protecting civil rights for all students at Barnard College and Columbia University. "Discrimination and intimidation have no place on campus. I continue to call on the administrators at Barnard & Columbia to ensure that the civil rights of all students are protected."

The following day, March 7, 2025, Meng announced weekend office hours scheduled for March 8 at her Forest Hills District Office. She invited constituents to visit for assistance with federal agencies such as the IRS, VA, and Social Security. "Weekend Office Hours: 3/8 My team & I are hosting weekend office hours this Saturday, March 8, 10am-1pm, at my Forest Hills District Office! Stop by to ask questions & receive assistance with federal agencies like the IRS, VA, Social Security, & more."

On March 8, International Women's Day was marked by Meng's advocacy for family planning programs alongside Representative Lois Frankel. They urged Secretary Rubio to acknowledge these programs' significance globally through a letter they co-authored. "Family planning programs aren't wasteful--they're lifesaving for women around the world. That's why @RepLoisFrankel & I wrote a letter to @SecRubio urging him to recognize their importance."
