NYU News visited a practice session before the annual Deans' Cup charity basketball game between NYU Law and Columbia Law. Students discussed how competitiveness aids them both in academics and sports. The proceeds support each school's Public Interest Law Center. This year, NYU hosts the event for the first time since 2015.
The game is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and tip-off at 8 p.m.
