Emma Zhiyi Dong and Nathaniel Blowers, both alumni of The Juilliard School (TJS), have shared their journey since graduating with master's degrees in music in 2023. During their time at TJS, they engaged in various activities together, including playing chamber music, performing a recital, and organizing the school's inaugural spring formal.

The couple also spent time traveling across China, visiting cities and parks, and spending time with Emma's family during the Spring Festival. Their experiences during the pandemic lockdowns further strengthened their bond as they cooked and watched movies together.

In June, nearly a year after Nathaniel proposed to Emma, they celebrated their wedding ceremony in the mountains of Beijing. The event was attended by TJS teachers and classmates along with friends and family from both sides.

Their commitment to making the most of each day has been a driving force in their relationship. With mutual encouragement, they are now enjoying playing in the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra.

Emma Zhiyi Dong graduated with a Master of Music degree specializing in violin, while Nathaniel Blowers specialized in cello.
