Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller will not return for the rest of the season following surgery on his right wrist. The injury involves a torn scapholunate ligament, which he sustained during a game against the Utah Jazz on January 15.

Brandon Miller, who was selected as the No. 2 pick in last year's NBA draft, had his surgery performed by Dr. Michelle G. Carlson, a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery at HSS.

Initially, the Hornets announced that Miller would be out indefinitely after the injury occurred during their 117-112 victory over the Jazz.
