The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Hakeem Jeffries, Jeffries for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Samuel Bankman-Fried on July 26, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Jeffries for Congress has refunded $54,800 total since Feb. 1.
