Grace Meng, a longstanding representative for New York’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, frequently shares her perspectives and greetings on social media. Her recent tweets emphasize various personal, community, and global issues.

On April 19, Meng highlighted the significance of Head Start, stating, "Head Start provides kids with early learning opportunities that set them & their families up for success. Every dollar invested creates a return of ~$7 in economic & social benefits. Educating kids & supporting families is not government waste."

On April 20, Meng extended a festive message to her constituents, specifically wishing those in her area a joyful celebration. She tweeted, "Happy Easter, Queens! Wishing everyone celebrating a wonderful holiday."

Following the passing of Pope Francis, Meng expressed her condolences on April 21. She wrote, "I join those across the globe who mourn the passing of Pope Francis. He led with compassion and humility and his legacy will continue to inspire us. I send my deepest condolences to Catholics in Queens and throughout the world."

Grace Meng's contributions to the community are backed by years of public service, beginning with her time in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012 before taking office in Congress in 2013. A lifelong resident of Queens, she holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Yeshiva University.
