The Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital's cardiology faculty practice has earned the 2024 Human Experience Pinnacle of Excellence Award from Press Ganey, a notable organization in patient experience evaluation. This recognition places the heart center among the top 10 in the country and distinguishes it as the only awardee in New York for its patient-centered care.
The faculty practice, located at The Mount Sinai Hospital, comprises specialists in various branches of cardiology, including general cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, heart failure, and vascular medicine. It previously received the same award for the year 2023. The Pinnacle of Excellence Award acknowledges health care organizations that consistently achieved excellence in patient experience over a three-year period, from April 2021 to March 2024.

As a recipient of the Press Ganey Human Experience Pinnacle of Excellence Award, the hospital ranks in the top 5 percent of health care providers in patient care delivery over the past three years. Press Ganey's mission involves working with over 41,000 health care facilities to alleviate patient issues and enhance caregiver resilience.
Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital ranks No. 4 nationally in cardiology, heart, and vascular surgery according to U.S. News & World Report and holds the No. 1 spot in New York as well as No. 6 globally according to Newsweek’s “The World’s Best Specialized Hospitals.”
