Students at Juilliard resumed live performances for in-person audiences starting in May 2021. This marked a significant moment for the students who had been awaiting the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a live audience.
Pre-College piano student Adam Jackson expressed his sentiments on this development, stating, "As we begin to heal, music can help us find comfort and consolation. I hope it helps bring us back together."
This return to live performances was seen as a step towards normalcy and an opportunity for students to engage with audiences directly once again.
