Adriano Espaillat, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York's 13th district, shared several messages on social media highlighting cultural and historical observances. Espaillat, who has been in office since 2017 after succeeding Charles Rangel, took to Twitter to address his constituents and acknowledge significant figures and events.

On March 14, 2025, Espaillat extended his greetings for Purim celebrations within his district. He wrote: "¡Feliz Purim a todos los que lo están celebrando en el distrito congresual 13 de Nueva York! ¡Chag Purim Sameach!"

Later that day, Espaillat commemorated Women's History Month by honoring Mae C. Jemison.
