Grace Meng, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 6th district, has shared several updates on social media concerning her recent activities and priorities. Meng has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Gary Ackerman and has previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012.

On March 4, 2025, Meng expressed pride in welcoming Luke Graziani, a US Army veteran from Woodside, Queens, as her guest at the President's address to a Joint Session of Congress. She highlighted that "Luke is a US Army veteran who was recently terminated from a NYC veterans’ hospital." Meng noted the significance of veterans like Graziani, who comprise 30% of the federal workforce.

In another post dated March 5, 2025, Meng announced her hosting of a telephone town hall scheduled for later that day at 7:00 PM EST. She invited participation alongside notable figures such as @NewYorkStateAG and @NYSComptroller. She stated, "#ICYMI I'm hosting a telephone town hall on March 5th at 7:00pm EST!" The event aimed to address challenges faced by New Yorkers under the new administration.

Later on March 5, Meng shared her presence at Congress during the President's address. Emphasizing her commitment to her constituents, she declared that "standing up for New Yorkers & fighting back against the administration's harmful policies is my #1 priority."
