Hakeem Jeffries, a U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 8th district, has recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding several pressing issues. His tweets cover topics ranging from domestic extremism to a tragic aviation accident.

On January 29, 2025, Jeffries expressed his stance against far-right extremism by stating, "Round one goes to Team America. We remain in the ring until far right extremism has been completely and totally knocked out."

The following day, on January 30, 2025, he addressed a recent tragedy with compassion. Jeffries tweeted about an aviation accident at DCA: "Deeply saddened by the heartbreaking and tragic crash at DCA. Praying hard for the passengers, crew, servicemembers and first responders."

Later that day, Jeffries criticized certain political figures in relation to the same incident. He stated, "Bodies are still being pulled from the Potomac. The President and extreme MAGA Republicans are blaming women and people of color for the deadly plane crash. At the same time, they are dismantling the Federal Aviation Administration as we know it. Disgusting."
