Brooklyn, NY — Bay Ridge Subaru and Maimonides Health have joined forces for the second consecutive year as part of Subaru of America, Inc.'s 2024 Subaru Share the Love Event. This initiative aims to support both national and local charities.
From November 21, 2024, to January 2, 2025, Bay Ridge Subaru committed to donating at least $300 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to Maimonides Health. The previous year's event generated a donation of $25,000.
Subaru and its retailers are recognized for their community contributions. Forbes has ranked Subaru as the top automotive brand for social impact for two years running. By the end of this year's event, they aim to reach nearly $320 million in total donations over the past 17 years through this annual charitable effort.
“Maimonides Health is grateful to the Subaru Share the Love campaign and their support of our mission of delivering world-class care to Brooklyn,” said Bettina Alonso, Chief Development Officer at Maimonides Health. “Support from our community partners means we can continue offering innovative health care services that has ranked Maimonides among the top ten health systems in the country, right in our community.”
Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America, Inc., stated: “It is our honor to support causes and organizations that strive to make a difference through the annual Subaru Share the Love Event. A dedication to giving back is core to what makes Subaru More Than a Car Company and our retailers More Than a Car Dealer. Giving back to a charity they believe in is one of the greatest gifts we can give this season, and we hope that it forges a connection that lasts for years to come.”
