Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 13th district, has shared several updates on social media regarding legislative milestones and community concerns. Serving since 2017, Espaillat continues to address issues affecting his constituents.

On December 13, 2024, Espaillat marked the second anniversary of the Respect for Marriage Act being signed into law. He highlighted its significance by stating: "Today marks the second anniversary of the Respect for Marriage Act being signed into law. This law enshrined justice, dignity and respect for all Americans regardless of who you love."

Later that day, Espaillat addressed concerns about opioid clinics in Harlem. He expressed gratitude towards participants working alongside him and Governor Kathy Hochul to tackle these issues: "For years I have expressed concern about the over-saturation of Opioid clinics in Harlem and the impacts on my constituents and our neighborhood, and I am proud to work with @GovKathyHochul to address these concerns."

In another post on December 13, 2024, Espaillat discussed potential benefits from economic provisions in the CHIPS Act for his community. He emphasized opportunities for minority-serving institutions through STEM programs: "Our community is in a position to benefit greatly from the economic provisions in the CHIPS Act."
