Yeshiva University appoints new board members for Stern College for Women and Yeshiva College

Yeshiva University has announced the appointment of new members to the Board of Overseers for its undergraduate schools, Stern College for Women and Yeshiva College. The new appointees for Stern College include Doba Isaacs (Chair), Dr. Annie Baron, Dr. Robyn Horowitz Grossman, and Saritte Silvera. For Yeshiva College, the new appointees are David Rauch (Chair), Drew Parker, and Shai Barnea.

Doba Isaacs, who has been a board member since 2015, will now serve as Chair of the Board of Overseers at Stern College for Women. Isaacs is known for her support of Jewish causes and Israel advocacy. She holds a B.S. in Computer Applications and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Reflecting on her new role, Isaacs said: “I am honored to be the new Chair of the Stern College Board of Overseers, and I welcome our new Board members.”

Dr. Annie Baron joins as a new member with a background in psychiatry and active involvement in educational committees at Yeshivat Noam. Dr. Robyn Horowitz Grossman brings experience as an attending physician at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and serves on various educational boards in New Jersey. Saritte Silvera has diverse experience in accounting, auditing, teaching music, and financial administration.

David Rauch takes over as Chair of the Yeshiva College Board of Overseers after serving since 2007. He has held leadership roles in various Jewish organizations including Congregation Bnai Yeshurun and Yeshivat Frisch. Commenting on his position, Rauch stated: "I am deeply honored to be appointed Chair of the Yeshiva College Board of Overseers."

Drew Parker is President of Kingsbrook Investments and one of the founding Directors of Cross River Bank with extensive board service across multiple organizations including NORPAC and Orthodox Union’s Advocacy Center. Shai Barnea heads Oil Products at Freepoint Commodities with significant experience in energy trading.

Dr. Karen Bacon expressed enthusiasm about these appointments: “The University is thrilled to welcome Dr. Annie Baron, Dr. Robyn Grossman, Saritte Silvera to the SCW Board of Overseers; Shai Barnea and Drew Parker to the YC Board... Their creative and energetic leadership will enhance the undergraduate Boards.”
