Paul Sperry has been added to the ongoing list of public figures who are banned from expressing their thoughts and opinions on social media platform Twitter.

Sperry spoke with The Gateway Pundit recently and told them that before Wednesday he was still able to log into his Twitter account. But come Wednesday he suddenly found out that his account was suspended by the social media company.

Sperry complained that he wasn’t even informed beforehand that he was at risk of getting banned from the platform. He argued that there was no viable reason why he should be banned from Twitter. He said, “No rules were broken. They just don’t like my content because of their politics. They’re trying to claim I’m a ‘robot’ when of course they know better. Tyrants. This is the second time I’ve been harassed since Trump was banned,”

Earlier this year, former president Donald Trump was permanently banned from Twitter due to allegations that he used the social media platform to incite violence and insurrection that led to the storming of the Capitol on January 6. Twitter CFO Ned Segal said that even if Trump ran again in the future their company will still impose the ban on him.

As for Sperry the infuriated journalist says that the social media company is simply harassing him. He said that if Twitter can do this to him then the company can do this to anyone else. He said, “If they can harass and silence a professional journalist, they can silence anybody,”
