Known for her 23 feature recordings and a Grammy Award-winning portfolio, Hahn starts the new role after previous engagements as a visiting artist and professor at several prestigious music institutions.

Midori, known for her visionary approach to music, has been performing internationally since her young debut with the New York Philharmonic at age 11. She will bring her experience of over four decades to the violin faculty while continuing with her humanitarian work.

Sheryl Staples, who joined the New York Philharmonic in 1998, has had a distinguished career featuring numerous solo performances with orchestras worldwide. She brings vast experience and a dedication to musical education, having taught at various institutions alongside her orchestral career.

Mark Steinberg, a founding member of the Brentano Quartet, has performed widely and served on multiple jury panels for international competitions. His extensive teaching background at schools like the Manhattan School of Music and CUNY Graduate Center will be a valuable addition to Juilliard.

Lastly, Nina Lee, celebrated cellist of the Brentano Quartet, will join Juilliard's cello faculty. With a commitment to teaching chamber music, Lee has held positions at Princeton and Columbia Universities and actively participates in music festivals worldwide.

David Ludwig, dean, and director of the Music Division, commented, “With the addition of these distinguished artists, we add to the depth and breadth of instruction we offer our students.
