Grace Meng, a prominent U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 6th district, is active in advocacy and community events. On March 31, 2025, Meng addressed concerns regarding government policy changes and community initiatives in a series of tweets.

On March 31, Grace Meng tweeted regarding the widespread concern among Americans about potential reductions in Social Security services, emphasizing, "10,000 people become eligible for Social Security benefits every day. These cuts shouldn't just be postponed, they should be scrapped altogether".

On April 1, Meng announced an upcoming IDNYC Enrollment Event, inviting local residents to participate. She stated, "Join me on Wednesday, April 9th at my @IDNYC Enrollment Event! Staff will be available from 9am-5pm to assist NYC residents with applying for their IDNYC card".

Additionally, Meng encouraged high school students to take part in her Congressional Art Competition. As posted on April 1, she urged participation by saying, "I encourage students to submit artwork for the chance to see it featured in the US Capitol for one year!" Submissions were welcomed until April 14th.
