Representative Grace Meng, serving New York’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress since 2013, shared several updates on her social media regarding various important activities and meetings she participated in recently. Detailing her engagements through tweets, she emphasized her involvement with different community and health-related issues.

On March 27, Meng shared an encounter with prominent figures from The Weather Channel and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In her post, she stated, "Great to meet with @weatherchannel's @JimCantore & CEO Tom O'Brien this week. Their work with @NOAA & @NWS has never been more important as communities across the nation face increasingly intense storms & temperatures throughout the year."

The following day, March 28, Meng expressed her gratitude towards veterans and their families who participated in a successful Veterans Affairs intake day in Queens. Her post encouraged veterans seeking assistance with military records or VA benefits to contact her office, as noted in this message: "Another successful VA intake day in Queens! A special thank you to all the veterans & families who joined us. Stay tuned for more upcoming dates! If you need assistance with military records, service medals, or VA benefits, please reach out to my office at (718) 358-MENG."

Later that day, Meng attended an event on the Medicaid Day of Action. Her goal was to draw attention to the need for continued Medicaid coverage for residents of Queens. She tweeted about the gathering: "#ICYMI on Medicaid Day of Action, I stood with doctors, nurses, & medical professionals at Queens Hospital demanding that we protect the 200,000+ Queens residents that rely on Medicaid coverage every day."
