On March 24, 2025, Meng expressed her disapproval of the decision to shut down the U.S. Minority Business Development Agency (USMBDA). She stated, "Shutting down @USMBDA is a terrible decision. My full statement below."

In another tweet dated March 25, 2025, Meng criticized the administration's approach to national security and defense planning. She remarked that such plans should not be devised informally or irresponsibly, stating "It goes without saying that our national security & defense plans shouldn’t be devised in a group chat. This is reckless, dangerous, & frankly embarrassing. The administration must be held accountable."

Additionally, on March 25, 2025, Meng acknowledged the efforts of officers at the NYPD's 109th Precinct in Queens during their annual Medal Day event at Flushing High School. She shared her appreciation by tweeting "Officers at the @NYPD109Pct are hard at work every day keeping Queens safe. I was proud to honor their dedicated service to our community during their annual Medal Day at Flushing High School."
