Adriano Espaillat, a U.S. Congressman representing New York's 13th district, shared several tweets highlighting significant figures and events within his community. Serving in Congress since 2017, Espaillat has been an active voice for his constituents.

On March 24, 2025, Espaillat expressed pride in recognizing Mark Levine's work as the president of Manhattan County. He stated, "Mark Levine no es un desconocido en nuestra comunidad, y me enorgullece reconocer su labor como presidente del condado de Manhattan. Es un colega dedicado al servicio público, un amigo y, sobre todo, un defensor de los neoyorquinos."

Later that day, Espaillat highlighted the achievements of women during Women's History Month. He praised Melody Capote, Executive Director of the Caribbean Culture Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), for her contributions to the community and her role in breaking barriers for women across New York State. He tweeted at 14:00 UTC on March 24, "March is Women’s History Month, and I want to highlight strong women in NY-13. Melody Capote is the Executive Director of the Carribean Culture Center African Diaspora Institue (CCCADI), contributing to the community and breaking barriers for women across the state."

Espaillat reiterated this sentiment later in Spanish at 16:02 UTC on March 24. He noted Melody Capote's impactful work as executive director of CCCADI and her efforts to support women within their community by tweeting, "Marzo es el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer, y quiero destacar a mujeres fuertes del NY-13. Melody Capote es la directora ejecutiva del Instituto de la Diáspora Africana del Centro Cultural del Caribe (CCCADI). Su labor contribuye a la comunidad y rompe barreras para las mujeres."
