Grace Meng, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 6th district, has recently shared several updates on social media addressing local community issues and events. Her posts cover topics from funding for food pantries to community meetings and sports events.

On March 21, 2025, Meng highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by food pantries due to a funding freeze imposed by the administration. In her post, she stated: "Our food pantries are still suffering from the administration’s funding freeze. Today, I wrote to @Sec_Noem urging her to immediately unfreeze this money. This freeze is forcing pantries in #Queens to reduce hours and provide less food. We can’t allow families in our borough to".

The following day, on March 22, 2025, Meng reflected on her engagement with local constituents at a civic association meeting. She posted: "Great talking with constituents last night at the Juniper Park Civic Association meeting in Middle Village."

Later that same day, Meng expressed her enthusiasm for an upcoming basketball game involving St. John's University. She conveyed her support for the team with the message: "I’m excited for @StJohnsBBall’s next game this afternoon after its victory on Thursday. I wish the team all the best for another great win. Go Johnnies! #RedStorm #MarchMadness"
