Later that day, Meng expressed concerns regarding proposed changes to the United States Postal Service. She stated: "Americans rely on the Postal Service every day to deliver mail, medications, ballots, & more. Cutting thousands of employees & handing the agency over to DOGE will only lead to delivery delays & put the universal service communities rely on at risk."

On March 16, 2025, Meng mourned the loss of a fellow congresswoman. She wrote: "I'm heartbroken to learn of the passing of Congresswoman Nita Lowey. Representing New Yorkers in Westchester and Rockland Counties for over 30 years, her district had at one point also included parts of my home borough of Queens.
