She stated: "We made a promise to care for the brave first responders who answered the call on 9/11. We cannot let DOGE break that commitment to the @FDNY firefighters battling cancer in its aftermath." Her statement highlights concerns about maintaining support for FDNY firefighters dealing with health issues linked to their service during that period.
