Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 13th district, has recently shared his views and concerns on various issues through a series of tweets. Espaillat, who has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Charles Rangel, addresses topics ranging from economic policies to community support and public safety.

On January 31, 2025, Espaillat expressed his concerns about the impact of tariffs on American families and businesses. He stated that "Treating tariffs like a light switch not only costs American families, it makes it impossible for American businesses to thrive and plan ahead."

In another tweet dated February 1, 2025, Espaillat reaffirmed his commitment to supporting immigrant communities within his district. He emphasized the importance of ensuring these communities are informed about their rights by stating "We are standing together to reaffirm our support of immigrant communities across my district, ensuring they are uplifted and informed of their rights."

Later that day, Espaillat addressed the tragic plane crash in Philadelphia. He offered prayers for the victims and acknowledged local leaders for their efforts during the crisis. His message read: "I am praying for the victims of the Philadelphia plane crash and everyone affected by this tragedy. Thank you @GovernorShapiro and @PhillyMayor Cherelle Parker for your leadership keeping the public informed and safe during this crisis."
