Grace Meng, a U.S. Congress member representing New York's 6th district, has recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Serving in Congress since 2013, Meng has expressed concerns on topics ranging from biomedical research to immigration and international human rights.

On January 25, 2025, Grace Meng criticized an executive order issued by former President Trump concerning the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In her tweet, she highlighted the importance of the NIH as "the largest funder of biomedical research, especially cancer research, worldwide." She further stated that "Trump's executive order pausing research grant reviews, meetings, and hiring at the NIH will stunt our advancements and breakthroughs in health care long into the future."

The following day, January 26, 2025, Meng addressed the issue of citizenship for individuals born in America. Her statement was succinct: "If you’re born in America, you’re an American. Full stop."

On January 27, 2025, Meng commented on a controversial bill passed by Iraqi lawmakers regarding child marriages. She condemned the legislation that permits child marriages as young as nine years old. Meng asserted that "9-year-old girls should be in school, making friends, and enjoying their childhood. Forced marriages rob them of their youth, rights, safety, and a self-determined future."
