Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 13th district, recently shared his views on immigration and border security through a series of tweets. Espaillat has been serving in Congress since 2017 after replacing Charles Rangel. Prior to his congressional service, he was part of the New York State Assembly and Senate.

On January 23, 2025, Espaillat expressed that "Americans want a safe and orderly border and a fair immigration system—not executive orders that create chaos." He emphasized the commitment of the Hispanic Caucus to provide solutions ensuring equity, opportunity, and security for all families.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Espaillat highlighted opposition within the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) against certain executive orders by stating: "Miembros del CHC se unen en oposición a las órdenes ejecutivas antiinmigrantes de Trump."

Reiterating his earlier message in Spanish later that day, Espaillat stated: "Los estadounidenses quieren una frontera segura y ordenada y un sistema de inmigración justo, no órdenes ejecutivas que generen caos." He reaffirmed the Hispanic Caucus's dedication to offering solutions for family equity and security.
