Ruthie Seidemann, a senior from Silver Spring, Maryland, has been named a 2025 MADE (Marketing & Advertising Education) finalist by the ANA Educational Foundation. As a double major in marketing and strategy & entrepreneurship, her selection underscores her dedication and leadership potential.

The MADE Program, established in 2018, connects top college students with internship opportunities through the ANA Educational Foundation's network of partner companies. These include industry leaders such as Sephora, NBCUniversal, Wells Enterprise, Sightly, and IPG Health. The program offers more than just placements; it provides professional development workshops, networking events, and mentorship opportunities.

Becoming a MADE finalist involves a rigorous process with multiple interview rounds assessing both technical skills and leadership potential. For Ruthie and other finalists, the program offers unique pathways to internships by routing applications directly to hiring managers at partner companies.

While being a finalist does not guarantee placement at a top-tier company, it significantly enhances career prospects by opening doors to valuable opportunities. Ruthie is particularly interested in working within the tech industry and has shown keen interest in digital marketing, event marketing, and public relations.

“I’m excited about the chance to gain experience in any industry," Ruthie stated. "I’m especially looking forward to networking with recruiters, industry titans and my fellow finalists.”

She expressed gratitude towards Dr. Tamar Avnet for introducing her to the MADE Program and Professor Bipasha Ghosh for guidance during the application process. Her active involvement with TAMID, Beta Gamma Sigma, the Writing Center, and the Out of Town Committee reflects her commitment to personal growth.

As she steps into this new chapter with enthusiasm and determination, Ruthie's recognition as a 2025 finalist positions her as an emerging talent in marketing and advertising.
