William Leathers, who completed an accelerated Bachelor of Music and Master of Music program at Juilliard, secured the position of principal trumpet with the Nashville Symphony before finishing his studies. "A few months before I graduated, I auditioned for the position of principal trumpet with the Nashville Symphony and got the job while completing my final year at Juilliard," Leathers stated.
Leathers' achievements extend beyond this role. He also became the principal trumpet for the Santa Fe Opera and joined prestigious ensembles such as the 2022 National Brass Ensemble.
