On November 27, 2024, Meng expressed her joy at participating in the annual Thanksgiving celebration organized by Selfhelp Community Services in Queens. She emphasized her commitment to supporting seniors by improving access to healthcare and reducing everyday costs. "Happy to join Queens seniors at @SelfhelpNY's annual Thanksgiving celebration! From improving access to health care to lowering everyday costs, I am always working to support them & listening to their concerns."

The following day, on November 28, Meng commended Acting Secretary Julie Su for inducting Filipino labor leaders Larry Dulay Itliong, Philip Vera Cruz, and Peter Gines Velasco into the U.S. Department of Labor Hall of Honor. She acknowledged their pivotal role in organizing Filipino farmworkers and improving the lives of many workers and families.
