State Rep. Alec Brook-Krasny, District 46 | Ballotpedia
Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny (R,C-Coney Island) addressed a rally at Asser Levy Park in Coney Island today, expressing solidarity with Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russian invasion. He called on the community to support Ukraine and its people.
“Ukraine is doing everything they can – even sacrificing the lives of their sons and daughters so the world will understand what atrocities are going on over there,” Brook-Krasny stated. “What Ukraine is suffering through now will prevent us and other nations from going through in the future and we need to do everything we can to support them and their citizens.”
In addition, Oceana Theater in Brighton Beach will host a community concert on Friday night featuring ballet, opera, and music stars to further support Ukraine.
