Yeshiva University offers a range of merit-based, academically rigorous undergraduate scholarships for high-achieving students, awarding up to $25,000 annually. These programs span various fields, including political activism, medicine, Jewish education, and Torah study.

The Lieberman-Mitzner Center for Public Service and Advocacy’s Scholars Program addresses the imperative to support Israel and Jewish life within the political system. Inspired by Senator Joseph Lieberman's legacy, the program includes an internship placement program in Washington D.C., specialized advocacy training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and skills training such as public speaking and conflict resolution. "Our focus is on ensuring that students not only enter the field but thrive within it," said Dr. Sharon Poczter.

The Zahava and Moshael J. Straus Scholars Program is designed for undergraduates who excel academically in both Jewish and general studies. The program includes interdisciplinary courses and a weekly reading group bridging Torah with works of art, literature, philosophy, and political science. "The goal of the Straus Center is not only to educate students but to prepare them for intellectual leadership," stated Rabbi Meir Soloveichik.

Another initiative is the Leadership Scholarship Program, which nurtures students with academic excellence and leadership qualities committed to activism and social justice. Vice Provost Dr. Erica Brown remarked on the strategic leadership initiatives taken by scholars: "They shine at Yeshiva University and will continue to shine long after graduation."

The YU-Einstein Medical Leaders Program offers exceptional high school seniors early assurance to an honors undergraduate education at Yeshiva University and medical school training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The program encourages a broad-based education alongside medical studies. Following a significant gift from Ruth L. Gottesman, Einstein tuition is now free.

"The highlight has been the opportunity to meet, guide, interact with and learn from the students," said Program Director Rabbi Dr. Richard Weiss.

Geri Mansdorf emphasized Yeshiva University's mission: "As the flagship Jewish university, we are continuously growing and improving to best provide a world-class, values-driven education."
