April 12, 2022: emergency personnel are on scene of an active police incident and have stabilized the area of 3rd Ave to 5th Ave from 20th – 40th Street in Brooklyn. Service has been halted on the D, N and R trains in Brooklyn and some stations in Manhattan, and commuters were told to expect major delays on those lines as well as the B, F and Q. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority urged riders to take alternate subway or bus lines.
BMCC community members are advised to stay safe and to avoid the area. Please continue to monitor MTA transportation updates.
