Cost of college went up for all students at the Beth Hamedrash Shaarei Yosher Institute

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at the Beth Hamedrash Shaarei Yosher Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $9,350 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $200 more than the $9,150 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 55 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 11 students received grants or scholarships totaling $111,500.

Including all undergraduates (74), 41 students used grants or scholarships totaling $406,665.
