Cost of college went up for all students at Yeshiva University

Tuition and fees rose 3.6 percent for 2018-19 at Yeshiva University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $43,500 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,500 more than the $42,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 89 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 512 students received grants or scholarships totaling $14.1 million and 211 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (6,479), 2,356 students used grants or scholarships totaling $63.3 million, and 673 students took out $4.3 million in federal student loans.
