Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Long Island Business Institute

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Long Island Business Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $14,475 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 220 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1 million and 49 students took out student loans totaling more than $137,200.

Including all undergraduates (665), 646 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.6 million, and 51 students took out $142,800 in federal student loans.
