Cost of college went up for all students at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy

Tuition and fees rose 4.1 percent for 2018-19 at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $38,900 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,530 more than the $37,370 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 563 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.2 million and 462 students took out student loans totaling more than $4.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,676), 1,376 students used grants or scholarships totaling $17.3 million, and 1,113 students took out $8.1 million in federal student loans.
