Cost of college went up for all students at St Paul's School of Nursing-Staten Island

Tuition and fees rose 2.3 percent for 2018-19 at St Paul's School of Nursing-Staten Island, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $17,395 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $391 more than the $17,004 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $224,836 and 26 students took out student loans totaling more than $219,778.

Including all undergraduates (579), 325 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2 million, and 355 students took out $3.3 million in federal student loans.
