Cost of college went up for all students at Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $15,760 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $525 more than the $15,235 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 82 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 18 students received grants or scholarships totaling $157,680.

Including all undergraduates (90), 59 students used grants or scholarships totaling $505,770.
