Cost of college went down for all students at DeVry College of New York

Tuition and fees fell 0.4 percent for 2018-19 at DeVry College of New York, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $17,950 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $70 less than the $18,020 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 89 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $169,768 and 21 students took out student loans totaling more than $165,505.

Including all undergraduates (1,471), 722 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.9 million, and 542 students took out $4.4 million in federal student loans.
