Cost of college went up for all students at Marymount Manhattan College

Tuition and fees rose 5.7 percent for 2018-19 at Marymount Manhattan College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $33,778 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,828 more than the $31,950 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 479 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.7 million and 425 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,063), 1,819 students used grants or scholarships totaling $26 million, and 1,359 students took out $8.9 million in federal student loans.
