Cost of college went up for all students at the Mirrer Yeshiva Cent Institute

Tuition and fees rose 18 percent for 2018-19 at the Mirrer Yeshiva Cent Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $8,570 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,310 more than the $7,260 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 41 students received grants or scholarships totaling $210,550.

Including all undergraduates (172), 128 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million.
