Cost of college went up for all students at New York School of Interior Design

Tuition and fees rose 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at New York School of Interior Design, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $24,834 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,244 more than the $23,590 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 69 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $75,105 and 4 students took out student loans totaling more than $25,250.

Including all undergraduates (537), 109 students used grants or scholarships totaling $782,615, and 112 students took out $844,923 in federal student loans.
