Cost of college went up for all students at Wagner College

Tuition and fees rose 3.8 percent for 2018-19 at Wagner College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $47,090 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,710 more than the $45,380 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 428 students received grants or scholarships totaling $11.9 million and 279 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,218), 1,758 students used grants or scholarships totaling $45.8 million, and 1,094 students took out $8 million in federal student loans.
