Cost of college went up for all students at Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem of America

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem of America, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $11,500 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $250 more than the $11,250 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 75 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $53,700.

Including all undergraduates (65), 26 students used grants or scholarships totaling $164,940.
