Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology enrolls 1,535 undergrads

At Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, 65 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 88 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Flushing enrolled 1,542 students in fall 2018, including 1,535 in undergraduate and seven in graduate programs, data shows. 12.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

88 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 11 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (34 percent) and Black or African American (18 percent).
