73 percent of applicants to St John's University-New York were admitted for fall 2018

At St John's University-New York, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Queens enrolled 21,635 students in fall 2018, including 16,877 in undergraduate and 4,758 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

73 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 22 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Asian (13 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 27,276 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
