51 percent of applicants to the Pratt Institute-Main were admitted for fall 2018

At the Pratt Institute-Main, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Brooklyn enrolled 5,015 students in fall 2018, including 3,634 in undergraduate and 1,381 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

15 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 48 percent are residents of other states. 37 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (38 percent) and Asian (12 percent).

The school admitted 51 percent of the 8,136 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 21 percent enrolled.
